A basic Share Savings account is automatically opened with a $5.00 minimum opening deposit when you join UECU and become an owner. Qualified members may receive dollar-for-dollar group life insurance for saving balances from $200.00 to $2,000.00 at no charge.

Zenith Club Rewards
A rewards program for members age 55+ with $2,500 or more in Savings and Investments with the credit union. Zenith Club members receive:

• 1 free box of 150 checks per year with a UECU checking account

The average monthly balance used to determine eligibility for Zenith includes Savings and Investment balances for one membership number. The checking account balance or joint account balances are not included.
ATM surcharge reimbursements must be initiated by the member. Receipts showing the surcharge must be received by a UECU staff member within the month following the surcharge (i.e.: surcharges occurring in April must be submitted for reimbursement by May 31.)
Free check offer is 1 box per calendar year, and must be selected from the following styles: Econo Checks (ECDS), CU Liberty Image (LIDS), CU Burgundy Image (BIDS).
