CDs are a great investment option if you're looking for higher returns in exchange for keeping your money with the credit union for a pre-determined length of time.

CD benefits include:

• A $500 minimum
• Terms ranging from 3 months to 5 years
• Dividends earned quarterly

FlexRate Certificates allow you a one-time, penalty-free opportunity to bump up your rate to the credit union's current rate, should rates increase during your certificate term. A $2,500 minimum opening deposit is required; you may choose a 3, 4 or 5 year term; and early withdrawal penalties still apply.

Youth Certificates are also available for young members up to age 17. Opening a Youth Certificate for your child is another great way to teach them about saving for their future. Youth Certificates only require a $100 minimum balance and a variety of terms are available.
