The donations were given to the selected schools in January to distribute to those children in need.
Benefiting schools include:
- Greenleaf Elementary School, Apple Valley
- Anoka-Hennepin School District: Pathways and Family Welcome Center, Coon Rapids
- Normandale Hills Elementary School, Eden Prairie
- Aquila Elementary School, St. Louis Park
- Woodbury Elementary School, Woodbury
"We are very grateful for the generosity shown from our members. It truly embodies the credit union philosophy of people helping people. It is important for all of us at United Educators Credit Union to be part of the community and we appreciate being able to help in any way," said Paul Dammann, credit union President and CEO.
