PROTECT YOURSELF AND THE EARTH BY SHREDDING DOCUMENTS AT UNITED EDUCATORS CREDIT UNION'S FREE SHRED EVENT
Woodbury, Minn. – In an effort to promote environmental awareness and identity theft protection, United Educators Credit Union will host a free document Shred Day at their Woodbury Branch at 6789 Upper Afton Road on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Members of the Woodbury community are invited to drop off up to 2 boxes for shredding.
"UECU is committed to both recycling and protecting consumers from identity theft, so we have partnered with Shred-It to have a truck on site to securely shred documents on the spot," said Abby Bushlack, Branch Supervisor. Credit union members and the Woodbury community are encouraged to bring unwanted personal documents, such as old account statements, cancelled checks, ATM receipts, unwanted credit card offers, and anything with personal information listed.
United Educators Credit Union was established in 1957 and is a member-owned, member-operated, not-for-profit financial institution, providing financial services to the Minnesota education community, their families, and those who support education by being a part of the United Educators Foundation.
