UNITED EDUCATORS FOUNDATION OFFERS MINNESOTA SCHOOLS FINANCIAL EDUCATION GRANTS
WOODBURY, Minn. - In honor of Financial Literacy Month and in support of the education community, United Educators Foundation is pleased to announce its 5th Annual Financial Education Grant Program. This year, the Foundation will provide up to four $500 grants to teachers, departments or schools to support financial literacy efforts with their students.
Submitted applications should support instruction of content related to budgeting, credit, money management, economics, saving and investing, or other personal finance topic.
All grades (K-12) and subjects at accredited Minnesota schools are eligible to apply, and the application deadline is August 31, 2012. Funds will be awarded in October to be used during the 2012/2013 school year.
The United Educators Foundation was established to generate funding and resources that advance educational initiatives and support charitable causes within the community United Educators Credit Union cooperatively serves.
