United Educators Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of its members and other users of this web site. We understand that your personal and financial information is important to you. This web site privacy policy explains the information we collect and how we use that information.

General Web Site: Visitors to our web site remain anonymous. United Educators Credit Union collects information on dates and times of web site visits and the number of times each page is visited. Online Applications and Forms: Personal information contained in online applications and forms by members and non-members will be used by the credit union in order to provide the requested service. Your SSL enabled browser contains the necessary encryption algorithms to "scramble" the information that is transmitted between you and the United Educators Credit Union computer system. This ensures the confidentiality of information you submit electronically. For this reason, we recommend that you use the most recent versions of Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer.

Solutions@HOME: When members use Solutions@HOME Online Account Access, personal identifying information is collected. For example, you are asked to provide your member number and password to log on. This allows the credit union to securely regulate entry into your personal financial information and measure member usage. Any information gathered during a Solutions@HOME session is held confidential by United Educators Credit Union in accordance with our general privacy policy. This ensures the confidentiality of information you submit electronically.

Youth Pages: The privacy of young visitors to our online youth pages is of great importance. United Educators Credit Union follows the following policies which conform to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998:

  • United Educators Credit Union may collect information on domain names, dates, and times of visits to our youth pages. This information will not include any personal identifiers, and will only be used to record web site visits to help assess the overall value of the pages.
  • With the exception of the usage described above, visitor information is NEVER sold, given or disclosed to third parties.
  • Our youth pages do not require the use of cookies.
