School Partner: Woodbury Middle School
In the spring of 2008, United Educators Credit Union and Woodbury Middle School  , located down the road from the Woodbury branch office, became business/school partners. The partnership came about in a collective effort to work together on projects and activities that will enhance the quality of education for Woodbury Middle School students, while improving skills critical to success in the workplace. The joint endeavor involves bringing a variety of financial literacy speakers into the classrooms, joint fundraising ventures and mentoring programs.
To date, partnership highlights include a branch tour and pizza party, credit union volunteers assisting with PTO Pizza and Bingo night, school events, joint mitten and hat clothing drive, classroom speakers, and celebration activities for National Credit Union Youth Week and National Teacher and School Staff Appreciation Week.
