UE Foundation Offers MN Schools Grants

UNITED EDUCATORS FOUNDATION OFFERS MINNESOTA SCHOOLS FINANCIAL EDUCATION GRANTS

WOODBURY, MN. The United Educators Foundation is pleased to offer up to 4 grants to teachers, departments or schools who wish to teach financial literacy to their students. Grant funds will be awarded via a check of up to $300.

Submitted applications should support instruction of content related to budgeting, credit, money management, economics, saving and investing, or other personal finance topic.

All grades (K-12) and subjects at an accredited Minnesota school are eligible. Grant money can be used to support either a new or existing plan. The application deadline is August 31, 2011. Funds will be awarded in October to be used during the 2011/2012 school year.
