UECU Holiday Mitten and Hat Drive

UNITED EDUCATORS CREDIT UNION COLLECTING MITTEN AND HATS FOR NEIGHBORING ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Apple Valley, Minn. - In the spirit of giving back for the holiday season, United Educators Credit Union will hold its Second Annual Holiday Mitten and Hat Drive, December 1-31, 2011. Throughout the month of December, UECU welcomes its members and the community to donate new mitten and hats, to benefit local elementary schools. Donations can be dropped off at any branch location.

"We are thrilled to once again collect essential winter garments to keep children in our community schools warm this winter," said Natalia Brown, Apple Valley Branch Supervisor. "With the generous support of our members and staff, we're hoping to help prepare students for the cold-weather season."
