UNITED EDUCATORS CREDIT UNION BREAKS GROUND ON BRANCH IN COON RAPIDS
Apple Valley, Minn. - United Educators Credit Union (UECU) officially broke ground on their future Coon Rapids branch. The new 5,000 square foot building, located at 11599 Robinson Drive NW, and is scheduled to open in fall 2011.
UECU's current Columbia Heights branch will relocate to the new location and will continue to be a full service branch. The new location will feature a drive up teller, 24/7 drive up ATM, lobby coin counter, on-site loan officer and financial planning services. The branch development is currently underway by HTG Architects and Greiner Construction.
"Building a new branch has been a vision in the making, and we've been looking forward to this day for awhile," said Del Danielson, credit union president and CEO. "It would not be taking place without the continued support, strategic direction and vision of our Board of Directors, and of course the key administration and branch office staff. We're looking forward to welcoming our members to the new location, and expanding our membership base to the Anoka education community and those who support education."
Over 30 people attended the groundbreaking ceremony including UECU board members, key UECU personnel, and Greiner Construction.
