UNITED EDUCATORS CREDIT UNION DONATES MITTENS AND HATS TO GREENLEAF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

APPLE VALLEY, Minn. - In the spirit of partnership and giving back for the holiday season, the Apple Valley Branch of United Educators Credit Union is pleased to announce that their Holiday Mitten and Hat Drive collected over 50 items for Greenleaf Elementary School, Apple Valley. The donations were given to the elementary school in January to distribute to those children in need.

"We partnered with our local members for the holiday drive to make an impact and promote awareness of children in need of warm winter garments in our community," said Natalia Elder, Apple Valley Branch Supervisor.

UECU, a member-owned financial cooperative serving the education community, partnered with its members and school partners to collect donations at each of its four branch offices throughout the month of December. Cooperatively, the credit union collected over 500 mitten and hats.
