The United Educators Credit Union volunteers consist of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Committee. The Board of Directors sets the policies and direction of the credit union. They hold monthly meetings and conduct semi-annual strategic planning sessions. The Supervisory Committee ensures the financial stability of the credit union through regular auditing of operational and accounting practices. All Directors and Committee members serve three-year terms after which they may be re-elected. These volunteers are all members of the credit union who have been elected by the membership. This unique structure sets credit unions apart from banks - credit union are truly run by the members for the members.
