Wells Fargo Surcharge Free ATMs

Members can use their United Educators Credit Union Instant Cash or Instant Cash & Check cards surcharge free at any Wells Fargo bank nationwide*. Please note, the ATM must be located on Wells Fargo bank property**, to avoid a surcharge fee.

Our agreement with Wells Fargo states that they will not charge our members a fee for using their ATM or Debit cards at any of the 400 "on-premise" Wells Fargo ATMs. Wells Fargo has notified us that most drive-thru ATMs not attached to their buildings are now considered "off premise", while the ATMs in their lobbies will remain "on-premise". In other words, some ATMs that used to be surcharge-free may now inform you of a surcharge before you complete your transaction. "On-premise" ATMs will all remain surcharge-free.

Please note: Deposits at Wells Fargo ATMs are now "envelope free". The ATM scans your checks, counts your bills, and totals them on screen. You can adjust your amounts and print images of your checks on your receipt. For more information and instructions, please review Envelope-Free ATMs (405 kb).
