Individual Retirement Accounts: Whatever your income, age or circumstance, the time to save for your future is now.

An IRA Savings account provides you with the flexibility of making deposits in any amount at any time up to your contribution limit. Traditional and Roth types are available. Earn a competitive daily interest rate paid quarterly. The minimum opening deposit is $25.00.

Traditional and Roth IRA Certificates of Deposit are also available. We offer a variety of terms from 182 days to 5 years. Minimum deposit for an IRA CD is $500. Our special FlexRate Certificates are also available.

IRA funds and other tax-deferred retirement plans (i.e. 401(k)) on deposit with other financial institutions can be rolled-over to the credit union without penalty.

Simplified Employee Pension (SEP): A SEP is a tax-deferred program, which allows self-employed members and small employers to build retirement funds through our high-yield savings accounts or CDs.

United Educators Credit Union IRAs and SEP accounts are insured to $500,000 by NCUSIF and ESI. This amount is the highest level of combined federal/private share savings insurance available. Since your non-retirement savings are separately insured to $500,000, you may have a combined savings insurance coverage of $1,000,000.
