Organizational & Business Accounts

United Educators offers Organizational Accounts to education-related organizations (such as local union associations, booster clubs, or PTA/PTOs) and businesses. No organization or business is too small or too large to be served by United Educators Credit Union.

Free Checking
All Organizational Accounts at United Educators Credit Union receive the benefits of a free checking account: no per check charge, no fees, and no minimum balance or earnings requirement. An Organizational Checking account earns dividends, making it the most desirable checking account anywhere.

Savings
In addition to a free checking account, United Educators provides a full menu of services to your organization. A Share Savings Account is automatically opened when the organization opens a checking account, and you'll have access to Certificates of Deposit, and a VIP Savings Account - a money market-type account for organizations looking for both safety and income.

Share Insurance
Savings at the credit union are federally insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) to at least $250,000 per organization, and up to $250,000 per organization by the Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI), for combined coverage of at least $500,000 - the highest level of combined federal/private share savings insurance available.

In order for an organization to qualify for membership, at least 50% of the signers on the accounts must be eligible to join the credit union, and the organization or business must have a tax ID number.
