INSTANT CASH AND CHECK DEBIT CARD
Your Instant Cash & Check Debit Card looks like a credit card but works like a check. When you use your card, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from your checking account. You can use your check card anywhere that VISA debit card is accepted. Purchases will be easier, faster and more convenient, plus, you'll save money because you'll have fewer checks to order.

You may also use your card to receive cash at CIRRUS ATMs around the world. Deposits, transfers and balance inquiries can also be made at most public Instant Cash ATMs in Minnesota. United Educators Credit Union members can use any of Wells Fargo on-premise ATM machines without incurring a surcharge for withdrawals. Plus, United Educators Credit Union belongs to a network of credit unions that provide surcharge-free ATMs to UECU members. Check this Co-Op ATM Locator  to find one near you.

There is no monthly fee for the check card (Up to ten free ATM cash withdrawals are permitted every month). Unlimited point-of-sale transactions (purchases made with the card at merchants) are allowed at no cost. The Instant Cash & Check Debit Card does have a daily limit. Please contact the credit union if you would like your daily limit adjusted or have questions about your card's daily limit.

Verified by VISA . With Verified by VISA you'll enjoy added security for all your online VISA debit card purchases, at no additional charge. When you enroll, you establish a password to be used in conjunction with your card number at participating online merchants. When making online purchases, you'll provide the password for your card before completing the purchase.

To activate your new card, follow these four steps:

1. Before calling the automated card activation system, please have the following available:
   1. Your new card. You will be asked to enter the 16-digit number from the front of the card.
   2. Your four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you do not have a PIN yet, you should receive on in the next few days.
   3. A checking or savings account number that can be accessed using this card. This will be your member number, typically 3-5 digits.
2. Call the phone number indicated on the activation label using a touch-tone phone.
3. Follow the voice prompts. You will be asked to enter the information listed in Step 1.
4. Wait until you hear confirmation of the card activation before disconnecting from the automated card activation system.

INSTANT CASH ATM CARD
The Instant Cash ATM Card allows you to deposit, withdraw or inquire about your accounts at Cirrus ATM machines. There is no monthly fee* and up to 10 free ATM cash withdrawals are permitted each month by the credit union.

If you plan on traveling outside of the US, please make sure to notify the Credit Union prior to your trip. We will need to add a note to your account so that your check card and debit card works correctly. You may be denied for some transactions that post outside of the US.
