Surcharge-Free ATM Network

Through access to the Co-op ATM Network, United Educators Credit Union members may withdraw cash at thousands of ATMs nationwide, absolutely surcharge-free. All UECU ATM cards and Instant Cash & Check Debit cards are surcharge-free on this Co-Op ATM Network. Although existing cards do not have the Co-Op logo on them, withdrawals from Co-Op network ATMs will be surcharge free, and all new cards will feature a Co-Op logo.

Since my credit union is part of CO-OP Network, what privileges do I get?
Members of credit unions participating in CO-OP Network receive surcharge-free access to 19,793 conveniently located ATMs in every state, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and Canada. Many of these ATMs offer deposit-taking services.

What is a surcharge?
Many banks impose a "convenience" fee for using their ATMs, typically $1.50 or more. In fact, it's getting harder and harder to find surcharge-free ATMs unless you are one of the millions of credit union cardholders who have surcharge-free access to ATMs across North America displaying the CO-OP Network logo.

Who belongs to CO-OP Network?
Only credit unions belong to CO-OP Network, which means more than 24 million credit union members across the U.S. have the CO-OP Network logo on the back of their ATM cards.

How do I find a CO-OP Network ATM?
The 19,793 CO-OP Network ATMs are located at participating credit unions, as well as in airports, malls, shopping centers, movie theatres, grocery stores, department stores, etc. Just look for the CO-OP Network logo, call 1-888-SITECOOP, or use the helpful Co-Op ATM Locator  to find a location near you.

What if I visit a Co-Op ATM and it charges me?
No problem! We understand that this is a new program and glitches may occur in the beginning stages. So, if you get charged at a surcharge-free CO-OP ATM, simply save your receipt and submit it to us for reimbursement. Just contact us and fax your receipt to the ATM Department at 651-264-0203 or just stop into any branch office to be reimbursed.
