Help Spread the Word!

Hello and Happy Spring! As this school year is on its home stretch, I am writing to let you know of some exciting changes we are planning for 2010/2011.

Our goals for the Ambassador Program changes include:

  • Get more people involved
  • Keep costs of the program down
  • Make it easier for Ambassadors to share information
  • Be more conscious of the environment

To meet these goals, we will be implementing the following changes effective June 1, 2010.

Monthly Email Newsletter:
An Ambassador newsletter will be emailed to you monthly throughout the school year. This newsletter will have current promotions and information for you to share with your staff. It will also include a link to an online request form for additional materials, supplies, or event requests. The first issue will be emailed to you in August. We will no longer be printing Ambassador Flyers or Posters for mass distribution.

CU Resource:
We ask that you continue to serve as a resource and refer co-workers who may know nothing about credit unions to United Educators. Anyone in your school can also sign up for the Ambassador email program and help spread the word about the credit union.

Special Requests:
On occasion, United Educators Credit Union will have special requests such as assistance with membership drives, recruiting new Ambassadors or assisting in hosting a school visit. We may also ask for feedback on new products and services to help us understand the needs of our members/potential members.

Benefits:
All Ambassador account benefits will be delivered as coupons via email communication. Effective June 1, 2010, benefits will no longer occur "automatically" on your credit union account. Each newsletter will provide a "$25 refer-a-member" coupon plus additional product offers. Watch for additional incentive opportunities when you participate in certain activities. As a current Ambassador, you may keep your Ambassador Savings account (S10) open, however, we will no longer offer the special savings account for new Ambassadors.

We appreciate all you have done to assist in sharing the benefits of credit union membership. To continue to be a CU Ambassador, you must provide us with a valid email address. Click here update your information by May 31, 2010, if you wish to continue volunteering as an Ambassador for the 2010/2011 school year. Use your school or home email address. We will not disclose, share, or sell your email address with anyone.

We are excited about this new electronic approach to the program, and hope you continue to help us to spread the word about United Educators Credit Union.

Sincerely,

Andrea Molnau
Vice President of Marketing
